Westlink M7 is carrying out planned line marking work at the Great Western Highway Interchange, Eastern Creek and Power Street Interchange, Plumpton/Glendenning. To do the work safely, and minimise disruption to road users, this work will be completed at night.
Ramp closures will be in place from 9pm to 5am (weather permitting) on the following dates:
- Monday 19 January 2026: a full closure of the northbound entry ramp to the M7 Motorway, Great Western Highway Interchange, Eastern Creek.
- Tuesday 20 January 2026: a full closure of the northbound entry ramp to the M7 Motorway, Power Street Interchange, Plumpton/Glendenning.
Traffic changes and Detours
During work, the M7 mainline will remain open to traffic and delays are not expected.
Detours will be in place for motorists wishing to enter the M7 Motorway at the Great Western Highway Interchange, Eastern Creek via Doonside Rd, Knox Road and Richmond Road.
Detours will be in place for motorists wishing to enter the M7 Motorway at Power Street Interchange, Plumpton/Glendenning via Rooty Hill Road North.
