Westlink M7 is carrying out planned maintenance work at the M4/M7 Light Horse Interchange, Eastern Creek. To do the work safely, and minimise disruption to road users, this work will be completed at night.
Ramp closures will be in place from 9pm to 5am (weather permitting) on the following dates:
- Sunday 23 August 2026 and Monday 24 August 2026 a full closure of the M7 northbound and southbound ramps to the M4 Motorway.
- Tuesday 25 August 2026 and Wednesday 26 August 2026 a full closure of the M4 eastbound and westbound ramps to the M7 Motorway.
Traffic changes and Detours
During work, the M7 mainline will remain open to traffic and delays are not expected.
Detours for northbound and southbound travel will be in place via Wallgrove Road for road users wishing to enter and exit the M7 Motorway at the Light Horse Interchange.

Tuesday 25 and Wednesday 26 August from 9pm to 5am travelling eastbound on M4 to M7 Motorway exit and detour at Wallgrove Road and detour via Wallgrove Road
