Westlink encourages customers travelling on the M7 Motorway during May to plan-ahead and observe signage as ramp closures and detours will be in place for planned maintenance works on M7 exit and entry ramps at the Great Western Highway Interchange, Eastern Creek and Old Windsor Interchange, Baulkham Hills.
M7 night work and ramp closures for maintenance work
To do the work safely, ramp closures will be in place from 9pm to 5am on Wednesday 20 May 2026 and Thursday 21 May 2026 (weather permitting).
- Wednesday 20 May 2026: full closure of the M7 northbound entry and southbound exit ramps at Great Western Highway Interchange, Eastern Creek.
- Thursday 21 May 2026: full closure of the M7 northbound entry and southbound exit ramps at Old Windsor Road Interchange, Baulkham Hills.
Traffic changes and detours
All ramps and interchanges will remain open during the day.
This work is being carried out at night for the safety of our workers and to minimise impact on the travelling public.
Detours will be in place for motorists wishing to enter and exit the M7 Motorway on night of works.
Overhead variable message signs and traffic control signs will alert motorists to traffic changes.
