Westlink M7 encourages motorists to plan ahead and allow extra travel time while scheduled night maintenance work is carried out at the M5/M7 Cutler VC Interchange Prestons, during June.
For the safety of our workers, ramp closures and detours will be in place from 9pm to 5am on the following nights, weather permitting.
- Monday 15 June, full closure of the M7 southbound exit to M5 eastbound entry ramp
- Monday 15 June, Tuesday, 16 June, Wednesday 17 June and Monday 18 June, a full closure of the M5 westbound exit to M7 northbound entry ramp
Traffic changes and detours
During ramp closure times, motorists can detour via Camden Valley Way exit to join the M5 Motorway eastbound, or via the M5 Beech Road exit and Camden Valley Way to join the M7 Motorway northbound.
Overhead variable message signs and traffic control signage will be in place to alert motorists of traffic changes.
The M7 Motorway will remain open to traffic during work, and delays are not expected.
This work is being carried out at night to minimise impact on the travelling public.
