Westlink encourages customers travelling on the M7 Motorway during June to plan-ahead and observe signage as ramp closures, traffic changes, and detours will be in place for planned maintenance works on M7 exit and entry ramps at Old Wallgrove Road Interchange, Eastern Creek from 9pm to 5am on the following nights (weather permitting).
- Tuesday 16 June 2026: Full closure of Old Wallgrove Road Interchange M7 northbound exit and entry ramps
- Wednesday 17 June 2026: Full closure of Old Wallgrove Road Interchange M7 southbound exit and entry ramps
Traffic changes and detours
Detours for motorists wishing to enter and exit the M7 Motorway at Old Wallgrove Road Interchange will be in place via Wallgrove Road, the Great Western Highway and The Horsley Drive.
Overhead variable message signs and traffic control signs will alert motorists to traffic changes.
This work is being carried out at night for the safety of our workers and to minimise impact on the travelling public.
All ramps will remain open during the day.
