Westlink encourages customers travelling on the M7 Motorway during June to plan-ahead and observe signage as ramp closures and detours will be in place for planned maintenance works at Old Wallgrove Road Interchange, Eastern Creek.
To do the work safely, ramp closures will be in place from 9pm to 5am on Monday 16 June 2025 and Tuesday 17 June 2025 (weather permitting).
Old Wallgrove Road Interchange Ramp Closures
- Monday 16 June 2025: Full closure of M7 northbound exit and entry ramps
- Tuesday, 17 June 2025: Full closure of M7 southbound exit and entry ramps
Traffic changes and Detours
All ramps will remain open during the day.
This work is being carried out at night for the safety of our workers and to minimise impact to the travelling public.
Detours for motorists wishing to enter and exit the M7 Motorway at Old Wallgrove Road Interchange will be in place via Wallgrove Road, the Great Western Highway and Horsley Drive.
Overhead variable message signs and traffic control signs will alert motorists to traffic changes.
