From mid-May to late August 2026, Westlink M7 will carry out a 3-month rolling program of planned night works to replace the existing tolling equipment on gantries at all M7 exit and entry ramps from Prestons to Glendenning.
We will be working at the Bernera Road, Cowpasture Road, Elizabeth Drive, The Horsley Drive, Wallgrove Road, M4 Light Horse, Great Western Hwy, Woodstock Ave and Power Street Interchanges from 9pm to 5am Sunday to Thursday over 3 consecutive months starting Sunday 17 May 2026 (weather permitting).
Work is being done on one toll point at a time to minimise disruption to the travelling public and surrounding road network.

Traffic changes and detours
For the safety of our workers, there will be changes to traffic conditions including M7 entry/exit ramp and interchange closures, speed reductions approaching work sites, and approved detours in place on nights of work. Overhead variable messages and traffic control signs will be in place to alert motorists to traffic changes.
The M7 Motorway will remain open for travel in both directions and delays are not anticipated.
