Westlink M7 encourages motorists to plan ahead and follow signs as M7 exit and entry ramp closures and detours will be in place for planned maintenance at the Cowpasture Road Interchange, Hoxton Park/Middelton Grange from 9pm to 5am on Monday 18 August and Tuesday 19 August 2025, weather permitting.
- Monday 18 August 2025 a full closure of the M7 northbound exit and entry ramps
- Tuesday 19 August 2025 a full closure of the M7 southbound exit and entry ramps
Ramp closures are required for M7 crews to safely carry out planned works as part of routine scheduled maintenance. All ramps will remain open during the day.
Traffic changes and Detours
During ramp closure times, motorists can detour via Hoxton Park Road to/from Bernera Road Interchange or Cowpasture Road to/from Elizabeth Drive Interchange.
Overhead variable message signs and traffic control signage will be in place to alert motorists of traffic changes.
The M7 Motorway will remain open to traffic during work, and delays are not expected.
