Westlink M7 is carrying out planned maintenance work at Bernera Road Interchange, Prestons on Wednesday 22 April 2026 and Thursday 23 April 2026.
To do the work safely, M7 ramp closures will be in place from 9pm to 5am (weather permitting) on the following dates:
- Wednesday 22 April 2026 a full closure of the Bernera Road Interchange M7 northbound exit and entry ramp.
- Thursday 23 April 2026 a full closure of the Bernera Road Interchange M7 southbound exit and entry ramp.
Traffic changes
The M7 Motorway will remain open during work, and delays are not anticipated.
Detours will be in place for road users wishing to enter and exit the M7 Motorway at the Bernera Road Interchange via Hoxton Park Road, Camden Valley Way or Bernera Road. Overhead variable messages and traffic control signs will alert road users of changes to traffic conditions.
