Westlink encourages customers to plan-ahead and observe signage as the M4 to M7 eastbound exit ramp at Light Horse Interchange, Eastern Creek will be closed for four consecutive nights to allow crews to carry out planned maintenance and electrical works.
We will be working from 9pm to 5am, from Sunday 1 June 2025 to Wednesday 4 June 2025, (weather permitting).
Traffic changes and Detour
This work is being carried out at night for the safety of our workers and to minimise the impact on the travelling public.
During ramp closure times, road users wishing to travel northbound or southbound on the M7 Motorway can take the M4 exit and detour via Wallgrove Road to rejoin the M7 at Old Wallgrove Road Interchange.
Overhead variable message signs and traffic control signs will alert motorists to traffic changes.
The M7 mainline and all ramps will remain open during the day.
