NorthConnex maintenance and tunnel closure, August 2024

To ensure NorthConnex continues to operate safely, the tunnel will close in both northbound and southbound directions, between West Pennant Hills and Wahroonga, for routine maintenance from 9pm to 5am on Sunday 10 August to Thursday 15 August 2024.

Traffic Changes

During tunnel closures, motorists can detour via Pennant Hills Road to join the M1 at Wahroonga or M2 at West Pennant Hills. 

Overhead variable messages and traffic control signs will alert road users of all changes to traffic conditions in the area.
