Systems Upgrade: The IT Systems of Westlink M7 are being upgraded from 23rd November 2012 over the weekend period. During this time the customer service number and website (www.roam.com.au) will be unavailable.
If you need to pay for travel this weekendyou can register for an e-pass at www.roamexpress.com.au
If you need to pay for a toll notice the payment dates have been extended until next week, so please call after the weekend.

Ride to Conquer Cancer

THE SUNSUPER RIDE TO CONQUER CANCER WILL TAKE PLACE SATURDAY 13th & SUNDAY 14th OF OCTOBER 2012
On the weekend of the 13th and 14th of October, participants will take part in the Sunsuper Ride to Conquer Cancer, a 2-day, 200 km Ride to raise funds that support the development of the Chris O'Brien Lifehouse at RPA in Sydney.
The Ride will be using the Westlink M7 Shared Path between the Villiers Rd entry point and Camden Valley Way on the Saturday, and will then use the entire path between Camden Valley Way and the Old Windsor Rd Cycle way on the Sunday. The Westlink M7 Shared Path will be CLOSED from 2.00am - 2.30pm on both Saturday 13th of October and Sunday 14th of October.

Congratulations to Westlink M7 Cities Marathon participants
Congratulations to everyone who participated in this year's Westlink M7 Cities Marathon. Our winners included Mark Tucker and Sara Burgess who were the first across the line in their divisions taking less than 2.5 and 3 hoursrespectively to run the 42.195km course.
Of particular interest this year was the marathon runner, Ty, a Kelpie Border Collie cross who ran his first full marathon - having completed several half marathons during the year. Not for everyone - or every dog to do.

Maintenance Upgrade

Westlink M7 Cities Marathon: Take your marks!
Preparations are well underway for the upcoming annual Westlink M7 Cities Marathon, to be held on Sunday 29 July, 2012. This year more than 300 runners from Australia and abroad are expected to vie for the prize pool of nearly $25,000.

As long time users of the Westlink M7 Shared Path know, we have been hosting the Westlink M7 Cities Marathon every last Sunday of July since our first year of opening. 2012 will be the seventh marathon and will be held on Sunday, 29 July commencing at 7 am in the south at Ash Road, Prestons (near Liverpool).

Bright Lights Blinding Runners/Pedestrians
You may not have thought about it, but some cyclist's lights can be a bit of a problem for those running/walking along the shared path at night. It is critical that cyclists use lights but please consider directing your lights so they do not hit other users at eye level or check the intensity levels of the lights.
