e-PASS for occasional use of Westlink M7
For motorists who will only make occasional use of Westlink M7, you will need the innovative Roam e-PASS. Roam e-PASSes are available by calling 13 TOLL (13 8655).
Register your number plate with your Roam e-PASS. Your number plate will be photographed by cameras as you travel past a toll point, and matched against your Roam e-PASS details. Toll points will be positioned at the on-ramps and off-ramps of Westlink M7. The toll will be based on the distance that you travel on Westlink M7. Motorists with a Roam e-PASS pay 75 cents per trip on Westlink M7 to cover the cost of matching number plate images to the customer's account.
Roam e-PASSes can be used on Westlink M7. In future the Roam e-PASS will work progressively on other toll roads. Contact 13 TOLL (13 8655) or visit roam.com.au to check the latest eligible toll roads for the Roam e-PASS.
The new  symbol is being introduced on road signs in Sydney to identify toll roads that accept passes such as e-PASS.
Roam e-PASS Accounts
When you set up your Roam e-PASS Account, you will be able to select from a range of payment options, including whether you would like to pay your tolls using your credit card or by direct debit from your bank account. You will be able to register up to four number plates on each Account.
Your Roam e-PASS Account will include free quarterly statements that detail every trip, made on each toll road, by each vehicle.
If you prefer to use the Internet, you will be able to log on to roam.com.au and access your statements or update your details.
A vehicle matching fee of 75 cents applies to each trip on Westlink M7.
Visitor’s e-PASS for interstate visitors to western Sydney
Visitors from interstate will be able to buy a Roam Visitor’s e-PASS. The Roam Visitor’s e-PASS will allow the visitor to register a vehicle for up to 30 days of continuous use of Westlink M7. When we detect the vehicle on Westlink M7, we will automatically charge the toll to the Roam Visitor’s e-PASS, saving the inconvenience of deferred toll payment, and reducing the risk of a fine.
Interstate visitors from VIC or QLD who already have an electronic tag will be able to use their tag on Westlink M7, and won’t need a Roam Visitor’s e-PASS.
